Team One Videos

We weren't able to upload the videos while we were still in Honduras, so I'll attach them now. Stay tuned, there are some good ones.

1) Steve is breaking the camp rules by teaching the Honduran children how to throw sand through a screen the "right" way. "Ninos, You don't throw it horizontally through the screen, you lift the shovel up and let the sand fall down." His rough translation in Spanish was something like, "el sando dropo downo". I think the kids liked it better their way because it created more dust.

2) Digging a well the old fashioned way...

3) Digging a well (2nd clip)...

4) Jesus pumping water at the well...

5) Making tortillas in Honduras
Kristen narrates the process from start to finish. Sandy is grinding the corn while another young girl shapes and cooks the tortilla. Steve walks in at the end having smelled the finished product and you know the locals are getting worried about their evening meal. HeeHaw pulls out a plastic bag, making them even more nervous. Finally, everyone's attention focuses on little Betsaida and the still unanswered question, 'where did that blond hair come from?'.

  1. For the record the tortillas were for lunch for the workers; Gerardo was who they needed to worry about, not me. I was satisfied with my mortadela sandwich and Fritos. I cannot explain what HeeHaw was doing with that bag!
