Work Day #1

In case you were wondering, here is a photo at the end of the 1st work day. Five courses laid, including channel blocks cut and the "concreto" poured. Two of the three doors set in place.

  6. I am so impressed with the progress. Leave some work for team 2. I know that is not Keishes leg. I am guessing Tom. We love you all. Thank heavens JR is there. I hope someone brought antibiotic ointment.

  8. WHY are Keesh and Deenis the only two gringos still left working here? Was everbody else too busy sanitizing Tom with "tom" during his surgery? Or watching Simpson wash his favorite NCSU T in a local water source? Or listening to a Steve Brown sermonette in Spanglish?
Team 2's major concern at this juncture is with Tom on the "DL" that the weight of too many blockos will now fall upon the broad, muscular and handsome shoulders of Keesh, resulting in him also being injured before 1/2 of the building project is completed.
Keesh - please, we beg you to pace yourself and remain healthy as groupo dos is not mentally prepared to lay any blockos that are "left behind". God's speed our brother!

  10. Church tonight was great. All the people connected with Honduras kind of drifted together like a family reunion. We celebrate what you are doing there and we support eachother at home. In fact all the wives got WONDERFUL meals from the church. Jill and I were overwhelmed with such a kind jesture. And of course Bob-o was right in the middle of things. Love to all.
